Ah thanks for the compliment on the fighter design and for the info on the streaming app. I'll have to check if my flatscreen or set-top box can download apps.
I did find a website that streams the SW animated shows so I've seen those but the site does only show animated stuff (great if you like anime).

Do you have a smart phone? If so, you can cast through something like a Chromecast. OR (if I'm not mistaken) you can get a Roku, which effectively turns your TV to a smart TV, allowing you to access apps. Hope this also helps. But honestly, from what I'm hearing, you're not missing anything.

Hello Everybody,  hope you're al safe and well (especially on the Gulf coast/Florida area). Just reporting in to let you know I'm still around and lurking
I have been a bit quiet lately, kinda not feeling the buzz of SW recently as I haven't been able to watch any of the Disney+ shows etc yet cos my cable/internet package sucks and doesn't carry D+. But I have still been able to design some stuff and while this next offering isn't gold, it is in a fetching Skystrike Academy or Mining Guild yelow!

Hi Dutch and MavRick, thanks both of you. I had a bit of a binge on designing some starfighters and ships a while ago and this ship was one of the more eye-catching ones I did. I know I posted my TIE Defender and Liberator models but I can't recall if I showed off the "Bat Four" variant....I'll check and see, if not I'll put that up next.

Hello Everyone,

I took a look back and discovered that I hadn't posted pictures of the Bat Four ship I mentioned in my last comment so I dug the pics out and here is Palpatine's  fully armoured (and armed) heavy class personal shuttle. the Bat Four.....







The ship is armed with missiles stored in the wing pylons and the wings rotate from forward to aft to improve performance.  The twin Ion engines have been upgraded and features a hyperdrive. The back cabin while small is large enough for Palpatine plus two guards. A final touch is a shield system and communications package.

Sorry the interior views are a bit dark but Blender 3D rendered the images a bit different than I planned. Anyhoo, hope you enjoyed this one.

Hi MavRick, glad you like this shuttlecraft. It took me a little longer to build than a normal TIE as I had to work out how to incorporate the rear hatch door and build an interior of sorts. I built this with the idea of having hidden armaments (like the helicopter Airwolf from the TV show - it was a wolf in sheep's clothing - looking like a civilian chopper with hidden weaponry) so it wouldn't arouse suspicion. And I called it the Bat Four because it has the outline of a Foxbat when viewed from certain angles.

Just when you thought the TIE Interceptor couldn't look meaner.

It's a great design, but I'm noticing some inconsistencies.

1) The solar arrays (wings) seem to be confused about which way to point. In a fighter role, it would make far more sense to have them point aft, but aesthetically it looks far more threatening with the point to the fore.
2) If it were Palp's, the interior would most likely be lavish and red.
3) Palps already had shuttle. Regardless, still looks awesome.

There are a few inconsistencies now you mention it but I just took these pics from a batch of images I rendered in various stages of building it and setups to show off the shape etc. The interior is definitely in need of further attention but this was my first attempt at interior design and had to make the cabin fit the fuselage.
But reading this quote...

Hi Kaiser and thanks so much. I had just been to New Zealand where Power Rangers Dino was filmed and got to go to a few filming locations so was inspired (New Zealand was awesome). And the Bat-Four was just a crazy stretching of the original TIE design, I'm just so glad it turned out how it did.

The Power Ranger  saber looks pretty good. Seeing the reference pic it looks like you defiantly hut the mark. The colored rings above the pommel, grip and the windows are all great.
