How fitting you might have a little outpost on the dark side of the moon watching for sneaky sith! (Meanwhile I have been stuck between the anvil if work and the hammer of studying and get a lot of 503 errors trying to see the forums) Like the death star moon comparison too.

I've always wondered what your workshop might look like, the sanctum of the saber smith if you will a thought for another time perhaps.

And a good job piecing C-3PO together. Joining the company fellow threepio assemblers Anakin and Chewbacca. Even got the silver leg and the hand and semi exposed internal details.

One always wonders about the red arm in The Force Awakens, perhaps the greatest mystery of the sequel trilogy

Hello Everybody, hope you're all doing well. As you can see from LSG's comment above, he wondered what my humble dwellings looked like so I have created a kinda "Virtual Tour" of Tyeth Towers. Sorry if this is a bit of a photodump but my flat is quite large.









The apartment is built from the deck structures of two starship bridge sections and houses my workbench and computer station along with a collection of old hilts I've built. A scale model of a Star Destroyer LSG may recognise is guarded by C-3PO. And in the "Living Quarters" section is my home cinema with TPM playing on it and oh yes I have a Dejarik table that doubles as a mission briefing table. I also have a "Saber Gymnasium" where I practice my forms etc but that is just an open space with holoprojectors to project "enemies" for me to battle and a couple of stands to hold sabers when not in use and recharge them.
Anyhoo, just thought you'd like a peak behind the curtains of my operations.

Finally managed to log in against those 503 errors. Interesting to see the workshop where the magic happens and thanks for the callout with the destroyer. Very spacious with a familiar star ship style.

I presume the clean and orderly nature of the workshop is because your little companion Babu Frik hasn't had a chance to play in on there yet! Got the dejarik board movie screen and everything ready for some breaks between saber designs and some nice hilts on the wall.

Hi LSG so good to hear from you! I promised you a sneek peek into my little world and I'm pleased you liked it. I could have filled this apartment many times over with the amount of stuff I've modelled over the past 10 years or so. I do my best to keep things tidy...but it isn't Babu that is the problem....it's this guy....

Mrs Tyeth saw him lurking in a shop nearby and picked him up for me! Him and Babu are a nightmare together

So how badly would your computer flip you off and storm outta the house for trying to incorporate ALL of your renders? Including some speeders AND one particularly notable holocron?

If I attempted that I think my laptop would turn itself into a pool of silicon, solder and burnt chips!

I started using this current laptop in March of 2020 and since then I have filled my Blender Models project folder to the point where it contains:
12,560 Files, 1,265 Folders
Which equates to:
35.7 GB (38,337,082,055 bytes)

The laptop itself only has 250GB of storage so that's over 10% used. Then there are the files I lost in past crashes and the "death" of my first two machines and you can see how much I've done in ten years. (I've had to obtain a couple of external SSD hard drives to back everything up now).

I still have the speeders....I'm working on rebuilding the holocron!

Yes sadly the original 'cron was lost when my last laptop bricked up....BUT from the burning embers a NEW holocron has risen! I have rebuilt it but am at the difficult stage of adding the Sith Code runes to the surface. Getting the text to fit was a pain...but I'll finish it as soon as possible.

And just to keep you entertained as I work here is a SMALL part of my collection....

And I had built these before the movie even released in theatre!
