I'm really liking DC's direction with their series and bringing John Wesley Shipp back to suit up as the original Flash from another timeline.  I will have to dabble into this now.

John Wesley Shipp will reprise his role as The Flash in The CW's upcoming "Elseworlds" crossover -- and he will return to his original costume in order to do it.

Arrow star Stephen Amell just shared an image of himself (in wardrobe as The Flash) alongside Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Shipp's Flash, and Green Arrow (Grant Gustin).

...Yeah, that's a weird sentence. But it's true.

You can see the image below.

That is so wonky! I can't wait to see that.

Ok...now that's awesome.  Too bad Dean Cain can't come in as Kingdom Come Superman

I've looked at this picture so many times today. I can't wait to see how grant Gustin plays the Arrow, that will probably be a big change from the character he usually plays

Not one for body shaming or anything, but does Amell look a little chunky in that suit? Which I know is crazy as he's in really good shape in real life.

I think it’s the suit

Agreed, DC is brewing something good

From everything else I've seen, I don't think Amell likes the Flash suit. Grant looks great as GA though.

I agree. also I can see GA without a beard, but I can't see the Flash with one.

Haha, so true. Amell is just too big for the suit.

The suit is dreadful looking and is probably the problem.

On the other hand, John looks fantastic. I love the old Flash show from the '90s.

I haven't been that big a fan of his new suit. I kinda wish they had just fixed the S4 one, that was my favorite.

I haven't seen much of the 90's Flash but I've heard nothing but good about it.

Mark Hamill played the Trickster. Need I say more? Wink

Seriously, it's a good show. It's too bad it never got a second season, it was supposed to feature more of The Flash's rogues gallery. But, it cost too much to produce and didn't do well in the time slot they put it in. I bought the whole series on DVD at Walmart years ago, I think they still carry it. At least, they do at the one I work at. We have a lot of superhero stuff, since that's all been so popular lately.

Ah, the '90s. Such a great decade. I was 11 years old when that show hit the airwaves.
