I normally don't judge things on first view nor teasers since the studio will only show you want they want to and give you far fetch thoughts about a character or story line so I won't judge the first photo of Bane on the set of Gotham just yet.  I like the iconic mask on him and I think that they will "blow up his muscles" like the comics but not sure yet.  Thoughts on this version of Bane for Gotham?

Same as a felt about Smallville.  Why bring in the Villains way before the Hero appears.

It doesn't make any sense, short of backstory, that would make the villains pretty old once Bruce is an adult and is Batman.

So, from what I've heard, this guy will be a former friend of Jim Gordon and we shall see him gradually become Bane.

As Tepes said, the reason I don't watch the show is you have a Batman show, with Batman villains, but without Batman.

To be honest, this picture does absolutely nothing for me. It actually looks like a concept photo for Mad Max: Fury Road.
