Haven't be here for a week or so, figured I'd check in and share a couple things I've been working on. This was done with a sanded mid-grade 36", 3M #45 adhesive spray, Transparent/Silver/Diamond glitter, and I'm just putting on some hardener. In person there is so much glistening. IT LOOKS AWESOME!!!! All show, no go. #BLINGBLING    |

 Yes, it was a 36" mid grade blade sanded down till it looked like a dull ultra edge. Taped of the bottom 2" of the blade, Then on 44" piece of wax paper I combined the three glitter using a heavier amount of the transparent, got the glitter mixed and in a nice straight line down the middle of the wax paper, sprayed the whole blade with adhesive, placed the blade on the glitter pile, then grabbed the long edges of the wax and pulled up and down to roll the blade back and forth several times. I redid these steps three times. Then for hardener I used a watered down Elmer's glue and painted it on gently. Be sure to tap off excess glitter after each roll through. Very easy. This was the left overs but you get my point.  |

How does it look next to a regular blade? Brighter? Shinier? Does it look better in a Tri-Cree?

No problem, I'll get one for you this evening after work or tomorrow, just like to make sure it's totally dry before really handling it. I'm probably going to put a coat of Acrylic sealer on anyways just to eliminate the slight tackiness of the glue. It's not that thick at all. Nice Is that an old Liberator V2? No, it's just a V3 with thin white o-rings. |
