So, unfortunately I destroyed the hasbro soundboard trying to modify the contact pad/switch. That being said, I still have a couple different plans for some real basic sound on this one, so I’ll keep you guys posted. Infinit, Sci-fi, Nox, Taegin- you guys are the best!!!

Ha! I got another hasbro soundboard! We’ll see if I can NOT destroy this one. I’m not going to use the hasbro speaker though. If there’s time tonight I’m gonna mock up all the electronics.

could someone take a pic of the dremel bits you like to use when brutalizing a saber & post? iI'm new to the dremel and could use some visuals. perhaps a descriptor of how/what you use it for too?

I shut down the shop for the night, but I’ll get ya some pics tomorrow bubba. The pits are layers of a small cutting flat burr, and a round carbide burr. It’s not hard to start, but it’s very hard to control once there are grooved surfaces for it to bite into. My hands are very damaged, and I get tired/pains in them when doing dremmel, or any intense work really, work. Once fatigued, any groove the burr bites into sends the spinning slice machine who knows where! It takes a lot of hand strength and control. That being said, with practice, you just know where not to be when the burr goes wild, and get lucky(hopefully).

Try the new spring action Rey lightsaber soundboard, that one actually sounds nice now days, especially for an electronic lightsaber Makes me want one even more just for the sound itself Love my Standard Issue saber though as well =]
