So every year about a week before Mother's Day, all the female deer disappear. I always worry it could be the last time I ever see Betsy, my favorite deer. She could die giving birth or a predator could find her in a weakened state. So many things could go wrong and I always worry. I was so happy to see her today. Here is a picture of my cat Dylan. I actually got a saber in this one.  The deer photo I posted the other day, that deer ran as soon as it saw me. Today I went outside to say hello to Betsy. This is what she did.  She walked up to me and said hello right back! She trusts me so much her babies didn't even try to hide!!!  I'm so happy she came by to see me! I just had to share some photos.  Wildlife photography, while holding a saber, is harder than I would have thought. I've got to get practice in before the baby foxes show up. |
