This was the free Initiate that came with my Butcher and Savior because of the spend amount that was over a threshold. Thanks for the free saber, it was nice. I can't recognize which saber it is. I think it is a Dark Appentice V4? I can't be sure. Smiley

You are correct, that's a Dark Apprentice V4 without windows.   Pretty much a straight-up stunt saber with no frills or add-ons, and not a bad grab at all for a freebie.  Nice!

It's missing more than just windows. The Dark Apprentice also has grooves in the emitter, even if it doesn't have windows. It looks like a mistake to me.

Hey, good catch!  And it does look pretty awesome without the grooves!

So, Lord Sidious, you have a rare bird there!  :-)

If the grooves are missing, then this is a rare mistake and hence an Ultrasabers collectible! It's a rare saber!

The windows are an option at the emitter for an extra $5 on the Dark Apprentice v4.

Nice Dark Apprentice V4 you have there, Lord Sidious.  And it's in BR, looks like UltraSabers and the Force knows who you are and sent you a saber accordingly

Hi Sidious...I actually watched your video this morning on YouTube and wondered what happened to the usual grooves around the emitter. Congrats on getting a unique variation. A rare collectible, indeed  Smiley

Thanks guys!  Grin  I think the consensus is that the saber is probably a Dark Apprentice v4 without the grooves at the emitter section. The rest of the hilt seems identical to a DA v4 judging by the Ultrasabers photos. I have a rare collectible, maybe!

It's a very functional saber despite its simplicity.

Hi Sisious, yes it could be a collectible of the future ...just make sure you have a certificate or display plaque to give it provenance  Grin

On a serious note though, the  less moving parts an object has the less there is to go wrong with it. I also think I had a conversation with somebody  else recently about one of these "Apprnetice V Something" hilt and I suggested it might have been a Blank that was sent out or maybe a new basic blank hilt for customising fans to buy and add weathering and  battle damage to  by themselves.
