Yea, the end of Kong when Godzilla's roar sounded, the theater I was in knew what they were doing.  They amped up the volume in that end scene and I was wondering why...then the roar came and shook the theater.   I've seen many wondering how kong will be able to fight Godzilla size wise, guess they missed the line about Kong still growing...

Yeah, Kong is much, much bigger than he was originally in Kong: Skull Island. It's clear they had a plan going in, which is always a good thing.
