Looks great! Thanks for the tutorial on how to pop the claws off.

I agree that US should have the option to choose what direction to install the claws on the checkout screen.

Based on the still empty "Claws" section on the site, I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes the new easily swappable item on the V5's. Then they could offer additional claws to drastically change the look going forward

Exactly. I do hope that they will eventually sell the claws separately one day

Thank you for the information and the tutorial!

Darn, I just bought a saber, and now the V5s are growing more and more on me...

Agreed, although I like it better with the flaws flipped and it looks like it should spin much better

I have a V5 and didn't think this was possible, at least not easy. Thanks for the post and showing how easy it is. But I don't know abouit taking them off and on all them time, the pins might become loose. Of course just a thought since I haven't even tried yet.

Probably right, seems like the kind of thing that would get more and more loose over time

The fastening rods for the claws look like standard metal dowel pins. If the fitment becomes loose you could try and spread them out again so they apply the right amount of pressure or worst case replace them. They'd be available at your local hardware/bolt supply store.

Exactly what I was going to say. If you constantly switched the claws back and forth then that would be a simple way to tighten them up if they ever became loose. I personally don't see myself switching the claws around like that but I'm not worried at all about them coming loose. I had to use a clamp to put them back on so they're held in quite securely.

Oh that'd be nice - at first glance it looked like they were part of the claws but if not then that is great.
