I agree with both of you, gentlemen.  I'm just going to wait for the next movie to come out and see how's it going to pan out.  I for one don't think that the characters themselves are done.  Some character's mantle will get passed on from one to the other like Captain America, Thor, and even Iron Man since those characters had other people take the helm for some time. 

But we shall see once this happens. I'm interested in seeing what Phase 4 and the Galactic route that Marvel's going with.  It should be quite interesting and fun

Since Jane is out of the Picture if they go Female Thor there are 3 options I see: 
1.) My personal pick of the three ...give it to Lady Sif
2.) Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie 
3.) Bring in another Valkyrie that survived

BUT..... what I really want....is Beta Ray Bill

Because Natalie Portman didn't want to continue doing these movies and lots of people commented on the lack of chemistry between her and Hemsworth. So, they wrote in a line that they broke up and she's off doing science somewhere.

And, those fine Aussie blokes over at Mr Sunday Movies have gone through the trailer and highlighted various Easter Eggs in the trailer that you may have missed.

I still don't know why Jane is gone. That didn't makes sense to me. But of yeah, I'd say Sif as well.

To add to what Knox said, there also seemed to be some strife with the studio.  Portman lobbied for a particular director for The Dark World and the Studio acquiesced, but then let her go.  There were apparently creative differences as the directors vision clashed with that of the studio.  Portman didn't like that one bit.

I mean, In Ragnarok we see Beta Ray exists....then Infinity War gives us Stormbreaker...the math is there.  I can see one more Thor film where he hands off Stormbreaker to Beta Ray so he can focus on rebuilding Asgard.....

Ah, good theory there, Tepes.  That sounds like something that can happen or the Grand Master heard about it and ask or bought Beta Ray from the Collector?  And in Thor Ragnarok, Beta is somewhere else in the Galaxy but surfaces during Infinity Wars since half of those around him, disappears.

Nah, just kidding. I think they announced Far From Home a while before infinity War. Same with Black Panther II.

and we know he fought in the Arena...wouldn't it be great if the reason he wasn't there is because Hulk beat him and took the title of champion.  So Beta Ray was going to be Executed and fought his way free.  So when he shows up he and hulk will get into it.
