I ordered a menace se staff as my entry for the fall 2018 raffle and since then my wife added a little custom paint that really improved the look of the saber.
Here is a picture of it when it first arrived:

To do this she used black acrylic paint from hobby lobby that is meant for painting model cars and airplanes. My wife used an extremely fine brush to do the small detail lines and a slightly larger brush for the rings around the hilt. She then touched it all up with pointed Q-tips and acetone. Finally she went over all the lines with a few thin coats of the model clear coat and that was it.
