Nice pull Karmack! Looks pretty sweet with that extra patterning and works very nicely with your other DSI. The new one's just a little fancier in both detailing and blade color, I think that makes an excellent pairing. I've never looked closely at a DSI before, but that image gives me some pause. Congrats!

Opened the box! What I got was... The Apprentice v5 stunt in VA as ordered. 32" blade. Discounted for Valentine's Day.  For the Mystery Box, I get...  An Aeon LE v4, in Arctic Blue, plain ol' guarded switch, no sound, but... windows!!!  I don't think I would have chosen this color. I like it, though! These two are a nice addition to my collection. S'all good, here! |

That Apprentice V5 is stunning, and I love the Aeon V4 LE in Arctic! I scored an Initiate V4 LE in AB during the raffle before Christmas, and it is just gorgeous. I love AB. :-)
But that Apprentice just looks amazing. :-)

My Dark Apprentice LE v5 just came in!
I think it's totally badass! The Banes Heart looks great also.
With the 24" ultraedge midgrade blade and the Spectre pommel, it balances at the choke point perfectly.
I put the Dark Warglaive pommel on the Dark Prophecy and the low Manticore pommel on my Dark Sentinel LE v4, and I'm very pleased with everything.
And in other non saber news, I also picked up my Marshall JCM 800 50 watt amplifier from the tech after a complete tube and cap job and it sounds amazing! All in all, it was a good day today!
I'll put up pics soon, I'm going to go play now.

Got this on Tuesday and finally have a few minutes to post some pics. Some really fine looking V-day sabers you all have. Stunt Catalyst in VA w/ li-ion. This is everything I thought it would be. Sleek, elegant, very light and agile. The choke point is large and rounded, so it allows for excellent handling. It measures 12.75" from pommel to the top of that gorgeous crown emitter. It seems to have a unique LED unlike other US hilts that is built into the emitter. Overall 100% satisfied and as usual US provided there super fast turnaround. Get yourself one of these. I have it shown with my DVA Dark Savior. The colors look the same with my camera, but the VA gets more pinkish towards the tip and DVA stays a nice purple through the blade. |
