Hi there, I'd just point out Michael Owen was an English Premier League soccer player who played for my favourite team, Manchester United and was also an England National squad  player. He was a Striker so I guess his name is appropriate in that way

Okay. My girlfriend says I am being way too picky and obsessive over this now. I can see why she feels like this, I do have pages of notebook paper with German to English translations and a whole bunch of ideas.

So she gave me one last idea. An idea I like a whole lot, mind you.

She asked me to describe my character, I did. She asked a question that at the time I thought was, "Of course, I have done that." But after discussing it with her for a couple more minutes she picked out the one word I liked but was no where near Star Wars-ish enough.

"Ritter" which translates to "knight".  This is what we came up with as alternative spellings:

Rytter
Ryter
Ryttar
Rytar

I like them all. Let me know which ones you like.

Some examples for full names are:

My'otis Ryttar

I hope to find that one name soon...my girlfriend does too. Never thought it would be so hard.

Hi BatMike, yeah he played in the late 90's early 2000's. The surname is spelt slightly differently but you would probably keep getting SW fans who also follow soccer pointing it out to you depending on how you pronounced it!

I was lucky picking my name...I celebrated  a landmark birthday a few years back and I couldn't believe how old I was getting and kept repeating "fortieth?" to myself. As I babbled on I started slowing down so I was saying it in syllables and ended up saying "For...Tie...Eth?" which turned into - For Tyeth!
