On the Side of the Light. Most of the time...

My favorite: The Bridge on the River Kwai. It's a looonngg movie but no matter how many times I watch it just flies by. Sir Alec Guinness is tops, and the film deserved all 7 Oscars that it won.

“You think you know the depths of corruption that plague the Jedi?” Saso hissed. “I’ve seen it, I’ve experienced it, I even embody it. Every breath I take is an affront to their lofty ideals and idle Force worship… and so they seek to exterminate me.” He looked deep into Barriss Offee’s eyes, “they were not successful in purging me from the galaxy, and neither will you be.”

Lake Placid - Bill Pullman. Oliver Platt. Brendan Gleeson. Bridget Fonda. Betty White. And a giant crocodile. Just an enjoyable monster B-movie.

Tremors. Nuff said.

Flash Gordon. Do i really need to explain why?  Wink

I love them both. But Lake Placid is funnier. Plus, did I mention Betty White? Betty White is always a win.

Moving away from monsters, but sticking with some Oliver Platt, The Three Musketeers. With Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland. Yes, it's cheesy as all hell. But, it has Tim Curry hamming it up to perfection in a bad guy performance to match Alan Rickman's Sheriff of Nottingham.

Can't go wrong with Betty White, indeed. I like DBS better for the story and the action myself.
