Hello all. I was today happy with my archon with ultra-edge heavy grade blade in try-consular green. I may want one to give to my opponent in lightsaber kendo. What my question really is as follows: Is the weight  of the Spectre's hilt about the same as my archon3.1 or is it heavier? Any insight would be appreciated.

The Archon 3.1 looks great, thanks for the share. Smiley I can't comment on the weight, I don't have either hilt.

Yeah I'm liking your Archon V3.1 for sure. I also don't have either lol, but my guess would be that the Spectre is noticeably heavier. This based on the extra metal to form that guard style emitter and it's typical for a hilt with a shroud around the grip section to be heftier then one without.

I would say it's heavy, but I'm always complaining with wrist problems. Nevertheless it is balanced most when your primary hand is on the emitter (and other hand on the handle.)

I have both, and to me, they are about the same. The Archon is a little top heavy. That may be because of the heavy duty blade. My Spectre has a midgrade blade on it.

Thanks for the input, Malik. I wouldn't have thought that as per my ideas above, but the HG blade needs to be accounted for given the V3.1 requires one. Point Smiley
