I got my emperor's hand from ultra sabers with the diamond controller already preprogrammed.  I absolutely love it. They set up the original blade color, Flash on clash, and the pulse just away asked. However, I have left it in that configuration because I'm having trouble programming the saber. I am not what you would call a computer genius, in any stretch of the imagination. I have looked at the videos Emery put out. Honestly, it's still pretty confusing for me. So, unless
 anyone has any ideas on how I can better understand how to use it, I think I'll stick to the Emerald with sound from now on.

Which part are you having trouble programming?  New Fonts? Sounds? Pulse settings? Gesture recognition?

Actually, all of it. I wanted to change the pulse for example.  And add a new sound font.

I would suggest poking around in the express launcher for a bit.  It's pretty straightforward and breaks things down in an easy to understand way, effect by effect.  It's a great way to ease into creating fonts and a handy way to create shells in whatever color combos you want to modify further if you so desire.  I'd also suggest perusing the Diamond Database, there are a number of interesting threads in there that sometimes break down how to accomplish one thing or another in great detail.  Don't give up on Diamond, the color shifting on the fly alone is well worth the small extra cost IMO even if you leave it with just the default fonts!

I'll give it a try this weekend. I'm also going to look at Emory's videos again. Thanks for the advice. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I made a video to help explain pulse to someone just a couple days ago. Maybe it will help

Just did one for the same person to add a sound font tag too. You should be able to use the same method for adding sounds to other things (like clash, idle, etc.) also
