Need to buy it on bluray (because discs RULE) so I freeze frame and catch all the tiny details they put in.

Just rented it last night.  My expectations I cant say were low, I knew it would be a good film but was not expecting the "Wow" factor involved.

Glad you enjoyed it. I think I said in my non-spoiler review that it was the best comic book movie of last year. Now you know why I said that. And one of the cleverest things they've done is establish the multiverse in an easy to understandable way, which opens up a lot of storytelling possibilities for both Sony and Marvel moving forward.

Definitely the best comic movie of last year. I picked up my Blu-Ray at work on Tuesday, as I was looking forward to watching it again. But, I also was smart enough to wait until last night, which is one of my nights off (the other is tonight.) I thoroughly enjoyed it the second time, just as I did the first.

I haven't watched the video yet, but I did see he posted it. (I follow his channel) I'll take a look at it later.

I was reading some of the history on Miles Morales on the Marvel Wiki earlier, and I like some of the stuff they changed for the movie. I think it works better than what they had for the comics. But, that's the advantage of adapting source material, you can tweak things.

As much as I enjoyed it...I would still put Infinity War over it personally.  But thats just me.

That's also the beauty of this movie. Who's to say that there isn't a "comic book accurate" Miles Morales out there in another dimension?

Both movies are brilliant, for very different reasons. I will say I liked the emotional story in Spiderverse more than Infinity War. Plus, the voice casting was on point (Nicholas Cage and John Mulaney in particular).

True enough.  Under the umbrella of "Comic Book Film" I prefer Infinty War.  But broken down both, in my mind, are in the same level of Logan.  Taking comic book inspired films to heights many though unlikely to ever happen.    Spoiler

The Post Credit scene with Spidey 2099 jumping into the 60s cartoon and acting out the meme made me spit out my tea.

Woah, woah, woah! Firstly, I thought it was illegal for Americans to drink tea. I thought you have devices injecting coffee directly into your veins?

Secondly, that scene was hilarious. And how awesome was it having Oscar Isaac voice Miguel.

We drink tea...we just don't have a "Tea Time".  I drink hot tea (Chamomile) for my acid re flux.  But when I said tea...I meant Sweet Tea (or iced tea as Yankee's call it).

It worked, I was excited to see the 2099 suit on a film.....the only 2099 titles that was worth a damn imo.

I didn't even know Miles isn't that liked by comic fans. (CinemaWins taught me that) I've only really heard about him from friends and people at work before watching this movie. So, they probably made him more likeable in the movie. And, yes, Marvel's multi-verse is so well done that there can be endless versions of Miles out there. Hell, we saw three versions of Peter Parker in this movie alone. (four if you count the one in Spider-Gwen's universe) They even went as far as to give all three different voices, to punctuate the differences.

Miles...unpopular?  Since when?  honestly these movie Youtube channels just say things to have content or use their experience as the norm, it kind of irks me.  Miles had his detractors at first ranging from Extremists to those who were just unhappy that Peter died.  But he has gone on to become a very well liked character.  Maybe I'm guilty of the same thing I'm accusing them of but I have only seen positive feelings toward Miles from comic readers.

I don't know, it was in that video.

Lots of things are supposedly unpopular, yet I personally know plenty of people who like them, especially movies.
