Grand Master for the blind.

Can anyone describe the Grand Master to me in greater detail than the video on YouTube?
I'd really appreciate a detailed description, that highlights the saber, and expands on the details given on the website and in videos, in a way that a blind man can understand.

Do you mean Bastula .  If so, this is another saber staff to add to my growing list of sabers I can't afford right now.

No they haven't been. this is her many times great granddaughter's staff. Different designs. VERY different. The reason why I started pushing Bastila so hard when I did is because this saber got so much forum requests after I suggested it and Bastila together in the suggestion box. When Emory contacted me about my Diamond Prize back a while ago, I half-jokingly said the Flamberge V2 unless they had a Bastila Staff coming out and then I would wait.... to which he replied telling me about the Satele design, so I've known for a couple of months XD. Figured I would still push my Bastila Staff agenda though since Satele got through.

I really hope that they make this available in the double-bladed section too, rather than just the quick release coupler in options. If people are looking for a Satele Saber specifically, they're going to look in the double blades section first. It's just a better marketing tactic to have it available in both sections. Not sure if I can manage this presale though since they're releasing mid-April, same time as Celebration... It's beautiful though. I think this is one saber I might actually prefer to do weathering on, to give it sort of the same look in game, rather than the dark black anodized...

Bastila was one of my favorite characters from KOTOR.
So, I'm going to need a little background on the Satele character, and why her saber is named the Grand Master.  I thought this name would be reserved for the Palpatine or Yoda saber.
That and a description would be nice.

Her saber is named "Grand Master" because in her time she was the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. In The Old Republic MMO, she is the many generations down the line granddaughter of Revan and Bastila Shan (assuming the Light side Male ending from the original KOTOR game). The Old Republic takes place about 300 years after Knights of the Old Republic, so that sort of gives you an idea of how many generations in between, although Satele's design is very much based off of Bastila in her attire, weapon of choice, and even voice actress.

The hilt is (in the game) a double bladed hilt with scrolling etched along the body (Ultrasabers appears to be offering it as a single saber, but you can order a coupler with it as one of the options).. Ulreasabers default is black anodized with the silver engraving (it also comes in red, blue and gold) but the actual has sort of antique sterling, so one would do well the weather the black color for the right effect. It has sort of winged emitters with long slit windows spaced staggered up and down throughout.

Also thanks for the brief description.  Here's hoping the pommel and emitter are removable, so I can use this saber in my Sci-Fi YouTube series.

They should be. They're MHS compatible to account for getting two and making into a staff like the canon version of the saber

Good point.  Now I'm just wondering which emitter would look good on this saber, maybe a Dorinian, or Savior emitter.

Blue. Not quite as dark as guardian, but I wouldn't really call it Acric either...

I wouldn't, the saber really screams "Jedi" to me.
