In my opinion the only thing missing from my Sentinel le v4 was a slanted emitter. So I made one, kind of. It was a plastic container that happened to be the perfect size to pressure fit on the top of the saber. So I cut and sanded it, and painted it the same hammered finish metallic as the switch section and pommel. It's slightly imperfect of course, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out. The nice thing about it just being pressure fit is I can adjust it if it's not perfectly straight, and remove it if I want.

Thanks all I'm glad I tried this idea, it ended up going better than expected. Also since it's plastic it doesn't really add any weight

I really like the look. Would love to see some pictures of it with the saber off, maybe some closer up pictures. Nice job.

Thanks everyone. Here's some unlit closeups for ya. Slightly imperfect, but I figure a lightsaber shroud is bound to pick up some wear

Nice I need to do this for mine as well but more of a Vader type shape. What container was it exactly that you used if you can remember it?

I think it may have been a film canister originally but I'm not positive. It was the kind where you squeeze the sides and the top pops open

Solstice, what exactly is the color you used on the shroud and switch section?

Thanks. I may not go with the hammered finish, but I like that color with the gold. I may use it for another project I'm working on. :-)
