Just to be clear, choose one actor and build the team from characters they've played.

That's up to you. It say "characters" so I'd say it's open to whoever you want to include.

Liam Neeson would be pretty unstoppable. I'd say Sean Bean, but we all know that he'd be stoppable.

Liam Neeson...

Zeus
Qui-Gon Gin
Aslan
Hannibal Smith (A-Team)
Bryan Mills (Taken)
Rob Roy MacGregor
Godfrey of Ibelin (Kingdom of Heaven)
Ra's al Ghul (Batman Begins/The Dark Knight Rises)
Nelson "Nels" Coxman (Cold Pursuit)

Oh, yeah, and Jesus Christ in "Pilgrim's Progress" (1978)

So, yeah...   I'm taking Liam.   We'll call them "The Dream Team"   LOL

If we're going for a one man team, then Morgan Freeman. He played God. However, that's a kind of boring answer. So my proper pick is Christopher Lee....

He'd have a hell of heroic death scene though.

Unforgivable!

That he would.

I think it's just meant to highlight just how badass he was in real life as well as give a snapshot of his 60 years workinf in the industry. It also never mentioned that James Bond is loosely based on him (Ian Fleming was his cousin).

I know, wasn't "actually" complaining.  But he was especially loved by we Tolkien fans for his love of LOTR.  Reading the Trilogy once a year for more decades than any of us here have been alive, being able to speak the Elven Languages and being the only person on the set of the films that actually met Tolkien himself.  Needless to say Christopher Lee is one in a million having been an Icon for multiple generations.

I keep forgetting how many people here on members of the Middle Earth cult! lol

Anyway, back to the original point of the thread. A superhero team consisting of:

Dracula
Sherlock Holmes
Death
Lucifer
Count Dooku
Saruman

I think they have every potential threat covered. They'll probably decide on world domination once they've defeated all the enemies, but so be it.

We've been here over 80 years and counting Smiley

My Pick.....Mark Hamill.

He's been:
Luke Skywalker
Darth Bane
The Joker
Firelord Ozai
Wolverine
and Swamp Thing

Benedict Cumberbatch would be another good choice. He's been
Sherlock Holmes,
Doctor Strange,
Smaug,
to name a few.

It isn't a cult. More of an inspiration to be better (as well as many other things).

Sound exactly like a cult to me!  Grin And that's not a bad thing. Fandom of any kind is essentially a cult (LotR, Marvel, DC, sports).

Any excuse to get a dragon in there!  Cheesy

kinda late but I'd say either Mark Hammil or Liam Neeson. mostly for Ra's and the Joker. also, Tepes, when did he play Darth Bane? I need to see that
