I too don't feel that this movie will live up to the original but I will watch it since Mark Hamill is voicing the psychotic doll from Hell.

That is my main issue with this movie. It's technology gone wrong. It seems they've completely gone away from the supernatural element. I'm not sure that even having Hamill voicing will be enough to get me to watch it at the cinema. It really depends on whatever movies are in cinemas at the time.

Not only getting away from the supernatural elements (even though they could be there and just not in the trailer), but they want to sell the premise that they have a kids toys that is a smart device that controls everything? Yes they're are many smart devices now that do this, but they are not children's toys and no parent in their right mind would have their child having sole control of such a device. That throw it all off for me.
