I'm planning to get a manticore to enter the Spring raffle. I'm thinking about getting a tri-cree colored saber. Which color do you think would be best on the manticore? If anyone has an Emerald driver in a manticore and can post pictures of the saber with different colored blades, that would be great. If you have a picture of a manticore with tri-cree as the color option, or an opinion as to which color is best would be greatly appreciated. Help me all knowing forum.

Hey Malik.  My apologies in advance for not providing illuminated pictures - I lost my charger in a cross-country move and the replacement is with my Spring Raffle entry.

Manticore with Emerald V4 was my first saber and I love it.  It's one of the few sabers I would choose with the Emerald driver because it truly looks great in all colors.  I generally keep it green though, which looks pretty sharp.  While I think some people would like red, it looks too much like Menace for me.

Personally, I like red, but it seems to be one of those sabers that looks sharp in any color. An Emerald setup would probably be good for that one.

Whatever color you choose, consider a contrasting illuminated switch to the blade color.  Gumby's manticore comes to mind and it looks super sweet.

So I've done it. I pulled the trigger on a tri-cree CH Manticore. Thanks for the advice. Can't wait to get my hands on this one.
