All I can say is pounce hard and fast. As the beginning of this story started over a year ago.

Kath: "Are we going to SCW? Tix are about to go on sale."
Logos: "Ooo. That would be fun. Wait....yes. Buy now for Saturday, cuz those won't last a week."

10 min after sales opened, we had tix.


2 days later Saturday tix were gone.

I'm only about half finished. Been really busy since being back, so I'm posting in spurts. Today should be Troopers and Rebels.

For today's installment, we will be looking at troopers/officers, bounty hunters, and rebels.

Jango Fett. As someone who has seen the original movie costume, I can say this guy was pretty spot on.





This Scout was too cool. I saw him walking out of Hayden's booth when I was in line for Ian. He even had the headset for the comm sound effect.

How often do you see and Aurra Sing? She was only missing 2 things: the antenna and the long fingers.

THE best Lando. Even had the right hair.




Joker Leia. Didn't really get it, but her outfit was fantastic. I noticed and commented on her belt, she replied that all of was commissioned, and set quality. I believed her.





Hologram Leia. I thought this was pretty original.





Hoth Leia. (I swear I'm not doing this on purpose.)





Temple Guards.





Captain A-Mandolorian? He was impressed that I could read his Aure-besh "A" (Aurek) on his helmet. And really went nuts when he saw my quick-connect coupler.





Points if you know why I isolated these two from their group.

Not sure if this is from the Shakespeare adaptations, but he was cool. And you quickly learned where he was. He was really good with snapping that fan open.

Yea...The closest Celebration...or any Convention for that matter is usually further than I'm willing to, able to or can afford to travel to.

I think that Florida heat is gonna be what drives people away....unless they do it in the dead of winter. Cosplayers will be dead just getting from the car to the venue.
