This is the test run of my Steampunk Jedi outfit:      In another hour, it'll be dark, and we'll try a couple more. Practising some posing tricks we learned from a panel at Comicpalooza. These are the best of about 16 shots. Steampunk Sith is on my to-do list of cosplay ideas. Sadly I think very bigly, and it will cost big pennies. But I have already conceived of the steampunk science that governs my side arm. |

Post pics as you go, those are fun to see the progress. There's a lot of ways to approach that idea. For mine, I have a few victorian and renfair outfits. So I approached it as a victorian, replacing bits that might be more jedi (boots, haori). If I started with a Jedi outfit first, I might come to a different look, maybe focussed on props/add-ons. |
