Aeon v2 review with Video

I have been in love with this blade for quite some time.  I looked at all of the newer designs and I can't help coming back to this blade. I love the sleek design and the simplicity of the look.

I think the price makes it perfect for combat practice and causal wearing around conventions and game events. The midgrade blade is still good for light sparing and really does make for a fuller look (I think) in photos.

I was really very pleased to discover the texture of the hilt is slightly rough.  Just sparing in the back yard I worked up a sweat (Yea Texas), and I did not have any issues with the blade slipping in my hands.  I handed the saber over to my seven year old for a durability test and was please to see how scratch resistant the overall blade and hilt are.  Also at this price I do not feel bad about letting my kiddo or her friends practice with it.

I am so happy with the over all quality and ascetic of Ultrasabers over anything else I have seen or handled.

Hey Nimbrennil, I enjoyed your review. I have a lot of the more complex sabers. After watching your video review, I feel like I need to take a hard look at some of the simpler sabers.  they look extremely comfortable and so easy to duel with. Maybe a Sentinel or Apprentice? Thanks much and have a point.
