Greetings from Rhode Island!  I've been a Star Wars fan since I was born (heard New Hope in the theaters from in the womb.)  I've also been a contact juggler (staff, poi, fire blade, fans and mirror ball) and knife flourisher (balisong and karambit) for a little over a decade.  My son and I took up fencing (foil, epee and longsword) just over a year ago.  I'm (not so) patiently awaiting my first saber, an apprentice v5.  It'll be my first saber ever.  I can't wait to finally combine my loves of fencing and flourishing with my love of Lightsabers!

Hello and welcome to the forum, BTU.  There are quite a bit of flow artists such as Samhain, Elwood Graestar, and myself so be sure to check out the Artistry section if you haven't already done so.

The Apprentice V5 is a great saber and it's beautiful. I look forward to seeing pictures of it when you receive it

Apprentice V5 is a solid choice for a first saber. Now I'm wondering which color you picked?
You fencing experience should make you able to make the most of your new elegant weapon (for a more civilized age).
