If you are planning to get FOC you can't get tri cree, no big deal. But if your not interested in FOC tri cree AB is beautiful.

I have a stunt Sentinel LE v4 in SY with windows and I love it!  The yellow blades is sweet and it looks great with the gold on the hilt.
I like the look of the yellow color much better in the standard (silver) mid-grade blades. Because the ultra-edge blades make it look washed out and give it a cream sickle look that I do not care for.
 This goes for all the warm colors red, yellow, orange etc. This is just my opinion, others may say different.
 I also got the lithium-ion batteries so the blade does not change colors as the batteries die out.
So that being said you will have to get premium sound to get the lithium batteries, which is worth it IMO. If you get the lite sound the saber will change colors as the batteries die out. This is with all mixed colors AB, SY, VA, and so on.

 I also have a stunt Dark Apprentice AB with windows and the AAA batteries. I like this saber very much also.  It looks good in both standard and ultra-edge blades.
I won this saber so I did not pick the setup, as I don't care for all black sabers with Jedi colored blades, blue and green, but that's just me. The blade changes from AB to green as the batteries die out because of the AAA batteries. But I am not complaining because this was a free saber as I said .

 Both sabers are very bright and both look great IMO. Both handle very well. So it really come down to what you want .

I prefer the yellow obtained by using AS with a yellow color filter as per below.  Looks cleaner to me and just as bright.  I don't like seeing hints of red and green in the mixed LED when looking at it up close.



Side by side in pictures it is hard to see the color difference between regular AB on the left and Tri-Cree AB on the right, but in person Tri-Cree has more green so looks more aqua to me too.  But as you can see from the blade flare it is noticeably brighter.




A caveat regarding AS, although it is great for yellow using a filter, it is very hard to get a bright AB using AS and a color filter so I wouldn't recommend going that route if you decide you want a nice vibrant AB too.

I have sabers that are SY  AB and tri-cree AB. I think they are all great. While the SY would look good on the Sentinel, I  personally like the AB, as it would provide an awesome contrast to the yellow saber. If you don't care about FOC, get it in the tri-cree AB. Anyway, that's my opinion.

It's too bad that they don't offer to install Quick Disconnects on the Sentinels. Cause I say both!
I have sabers in Sentinel Yellow and Arctic Blue and they both rock.

But.... that said, since you can only have one - I'd say AB. It'll go really well with that hilt.

Sentinel LE v5

Great choices! As someone who has a Sentinel Yellow bladed saber as well as the Sentinel V5 LE, I'd say DEFINITELY go with the Sentinel Yellow! That color would perfectly compliment the gold accents! No matter what you go with, please have a video review when you decide! Either way it'll look awesome!
