So I installed two 3mm magnets to attach a control box on the side for cosmetic reasons and then it comes right off for dueling.
 


Also it's a diamond saber so I have another emitter to enjoy the fullness of a diamond saber Wink

That was a great idea with the magnets. I had just used some strong double sided tape on mine. I bet the magnets hold way better.

How hard was this? Wondering if it took a lot of work and what went into doing it. I want to add a control box to mine but I'm crap with wires

Depends on if you want the control box to be functional.

The Archon v3.1 comes with the switch hole pre-milled/installed (be it AV or guarded). What I did with mine and from the looks of it, same with JoshTua, the box is more decoration.

Yeah just looking for the decorative aspects, been debating between a graflex clamp and card or finding a good way for the control box to be put on. And I never would have thought of using magnets
