For those that haven't seen the trailer nor read the series, it's a good intro and kick-start into the comics.  I recommend it and got excited when this was released early last year

I concur.  The Power Ranger comics have really revitalized the franchise by maturing up the story and shaking things up...Plus Drakkon is just an awesome character.

Unfortunately, when PR was broadcast in the UK I was too old tp get into it, so the fandom passed me by. Unless they do a dark and gritty reboot like the fan film with Katie Sachoff and James van der Beek, I doubt I'll get into it now.

But, if fans get a new interpretation they enjoy then that's very cool

Just like comic books, fitness, cosplay, and anything else in the world, you're never too old to get into it

I was the right age when it was released in the US...but as I did not get FOX I never saw it until I was an adult.  Needless to say I was not a fan.  But I did become a fan of the actual Japanese show which (while a bit goofy sometimes) had a much more interesting story than the one they came up with for MMPR.   BUT, while I wouldn't consider the new comics "Dark and Gritty" they are WAYYYY more Mature than the show ever was.  Worth reading IMO.

I was always more a fan of Monkey (love that theme tune)
