Assuming I am not going to duel, and we're judging purely based on cosmetics, which of the 2 looks do you prefer?

Honestly, I like the look of the combat-ready emitter.  I like the color-coordinated strips on there.   :-)
The extra strength is a bonus...

I'm the wrong person to try to answer this questions as I always go for functional first, cosmetics never (and people wonder why the DSI is my favorite saber).

In this case I'm really ok either way. They both look fine to me, so I'm saying combat ready. Plus you can mix/match colors on the emitter with hilt colors for extra neat looks.
