Assuming I am not going to duel, and we're judging purely based on cosmetics, which of the 2 looks do you prefer?

My preference is the Combat-Ready version; I just like the extra splashes of color.

I'm the wrong person to try to answer this questions as I always go for functional first, cosmetics never (and people wonder why the DSI is my favorite saber).

In this case I'm really ok either way. They both look fine to me, so I'm saying combat ready. Plus you can mix/match colors on the emitter with hilt colors for extra neat looks.

I plan to use my sabers for dancing more than combat, but I also want them combat ready.

The fact that I like the aesthetics for the combat ready version is an added bonus for me, because if I were getting it just as a decorative piece, I'd want that version anyway.
