get some leather gloves off the amazon to save you and your friend's fingers.

That's a good cheap pair, and they go well with a sith outfit!

My friends started using thick gloves for protection, although I use thin gloves that offer little protection but excellent grip! Also getting my new ultrasaber Friday gonna do another review!

This seemed like a good spot to post this, still getting used to the double saber but here's what I'm doing now;

Some feedback:

if you don't have a saber yet, hit the hardware store and buy a length of 1" external diameter PVC for the blade and 1" internal PVC for the hilt.  Under $10 and you can make several. (note, I see you got your sabers).

When fighting one handed, watch you off hand.  Your first frame of the first video has got your hand like a T-rex just sitting there waiting to get chopped off.  Your later outdoor video is better for this (just judging by the still I see on the page here.   Some solutions:
rest it on your hip or raise it behind you like Erol Flynn.

Bring your arm against your chest, hand over your sternum, keep your fingers and thumb together pointing up in classic kung fu block.  You're almost doing this in the later video.

This keeps your arm from looking useless or flailing around and gets you thinking about what it's doing during combat/demo.

Also, consider LaCrosse gloves.  They've got padding on the backs, where you're likely to take some whacks.
