I downloaded the obsidian launcher, and when i try download a font, it says a message "not a valid file" any help on this? and i try to download the launcher on my other PC, and during the installation it says an error occurs. anyone else have this problem? any tips?

1:  Make sure you have the most recent version of the obsidian launcher.  Follow all the glitch work-arounds posted in the launcher thread here.

2:  Also make sure you're using LSU fonts, and that they're not too big to fit on the Obsidian.  If you've got other fonts that aren't LSU, use the LSU converter that should come with the launcher.
