Hey so I got a dominix v3 last year and recently the screw got stuck to the point where my wrench twisted. So my dad and I have the wrench curing in the smallest dab of  super glue in the screw to see if we can pull it out that way.

If that doesn't work, is there a way that the battery pack and LED can be swapped? I really like the v3 hilt and don't quite have the money for a completely new saber, but I was thinking if the emitter has enough space for a battery pack then I could swap the two and use an MHS emitter I have in what is now the pommel section. I have a friend who fixes saber electronics for our little group so I'm sure he could just swap the connections.

Do you have a picture of the problem?
Is the screw which holds the blade in place stuck?
As far as I know the LED comes out of the same end as the blade is. You can't get it out on the same end as the batterypack, because of the chokepoints on the hilt where the interior is smaller in diameter as well.

But maybe I'm mistaking. So please correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but that sounds like you stripped the retention screw?

^This.

As for the battery pack/LED swapping: No, the emitter isn't wide enough for the battery pack. It's only 1" in diameter and a bit shorter, the battery packs are wider and longer. Same for the pommel section - it's wider than the emitter, so the blade (1" OD) can't be secured properly.

If you're trying to remove the LED, you will have to cut the wire from the battery pack first and leave room for both the wires and battery pack. The LED will slide out the emitter's end after that
