I have both received and given away sabers. It's a great feeling.  The one I received is very special to me (one of my favorites)because it was a gift. Never giving it up. The ones I've given to the Children's hospital and my good friends has brought me great joy. Each one was received as if it was the ultimate gift...and I guess it was. They are all HUGE STAR WARS fans,  and had always wanted a saber, but never owned one, or like most of us, only had a paper towel roll to try and fill the void. It's even better than the feeling of opening a mystery box or a raffle Grand Prize. I highly recommend doing it (if possible) at least one time. Even a basic saber with sound (must have sound) goes over big.
