long exposure spinning

Hey folks
I'm wondering if anyone else does any fire/light spinning with long exposure? I got into this years ago and I'm betting that, in the hands of a competent spinner, sabers would be incredible to photograph.

Here's one I did abt 5 years ago with Lee color filters and flashlights. lol

Aye, a lot like that!
1. Can someone move my comment to the appropriate thread? I honestly DID do a search but must've not hit the right terms.

2. A tip...if you set increase the exposure time and make certain that your body is constantly in motion, you'll get an image with just the lights.

3. Yup, 2 different lights. I was always in motion when painting this so my body silhouette didnt' come thru. I usually do my lp with fire/burning steel wool, which is tons of fun but you just don't have the control over it like you do a blade.

Got anymore images? I'd love to see 'em!

VERY nice! I love flow arts with long exposure. A tip...if you move constantly (doesn't even have to be a lot....just some mov't)  your body won't show up in the images. What's next for ya? If you have a diamond saber, you could set it to change colors while spinning...that would be interesting!

I'll try that out. My diamond breath on the personal setting but I'm to chix $#!t to hook it up just yet. I know ill mess it up and have to send it back to be fixed lol
