Hi Saber Forum,

I placed an order for an Apprentice v5 LE, and I want to find a way to install an activation box similar to the one on Luke's ROTJ saber.

There are a few ways I've considered, and I wonder if anyone has any advice or suggestions:

- Use PVC pipe and glue a replica or homemade box to it (seems like the easiest option)
- Drill into the handle and mount one with screws (seems difficult considering the ridges in the hilt)
- Find a clamp (does anyone know if a Graflex clamp or MPP clamp would fit a 1.45" OD?)

I don't need it to be functional; I just like the way it looks. Sorry if anything might seem redundant - totally new to this.

Thanks all,

L

TCSS has clamps and boxes. It does take patience and skill too drill and tap and mount them but it works nicely.

I second TCSS as source.  They have several types of activation boxes and switch shrouds.  You need to be careful drilling and tapping the holes, but its not overly hard to do and can make your saber very unique.

I third TCSS as a source since they’re MHS compatible so most parts are interchangeable

That is beautiful...

But also agree, TCSS is the place to go.
