Hey guys!

I'm hoping someone out there can illuminate something for me.  The Fallen has a "trim piece", a small metal oblong box attached to the hilt, just above the switch on the flared-out section.  It appears to be attached with two metal pins, but before I try to gently pry it off (I have some possible plans for that spot...) I am hoping someone can confirm or deny that?

Has anyone tried to remove this yet?

I have the saber, and I have not tried to remove anything yet that does not easily present itself to me as being able to be unscrewed.  So... no, I haven’t tried to remove this yet, but I know exactly what you’re talking about.

I too would be afraid to try to pry it off. BUT...if you do, post pics and let us know how ya did it?

That would make a handy spot for a couple of micro switches, but no, i've not tried to hack apart the hilt, only the emitter.

I don't have a expansion point tool to be able to push out the spring/roll pins, or i'd be willing to try it.

I wonder. I don't know if I can find some m2 steel standoffs small enough to fit in there, but i'll look to see if that's possible.

Hey guys,

I'm sorry to necropost, but I just got my Fallen and I've been running into the same issue with the rectangular box.  Did anyone ever figure out a way to remove that box?
