I was looking at videos online of the Guardian Blue Ultrasaber and I noticed it seems more like a purple then a blue?

I know that colour doesn't always translate well from real life to camera but is it more of a blue or a purple? I'm wanting to go blue and green with my dual staff but if The Guardian Blue is more of a purple then I'll probably get the artic shade instead.

Thanks for reading.

Guardian Blue should be a plain blue. I'm quite sure that it was an artefact in the video, normally it doesn't look purple, even on cameras.

IMO Guardian blue doesn't show up in pictures very well. In person it looks pretty close to this

That's a really nice shade of blue and definitely what I was hoping for. Thanks for the example, if you know do you happen to have any examples of how green looks?

I think the comes through pictures better. If you're trying to get a more accurate idea of colors from pictures online, hold your finger over the blade and look at the color of the "aura" and items nearby that are illuminated by the saber.

This isn't my picture (came from a google search) but if you put your finger over the blades and look at the aura they both come pretty close to the actual colors.

That's the actual colour palette of Ultra Sabers. It doesn't include the former forum exclusives (Bane's Heart, Pyrestone Orange, Hot Pink, Sentinel Yellow, Emerald Green), though, but it represents the colours quite well.

Are Guardian Blue and Consular Green both equally bright? Like will using both be balanced or will one outshine the other?

Unfortunately they're not equal. They won't outshine each other, but due to physical reasons Green is less bright than Blue. It's not an LED thing (using a different module doesn't make a difference).

However, the effect is not overly distinct.
