The shroud gives it an abnormal length, but it's not nearly as thick.  It actually looks like the working half of a broken staff. Hmm. OK, I am giving this one a second look. I've been looking for a hilt that might support a 40" blade for a more "two hand" feel. This may be the ticket... |

I think it would definitely do that. The emitter shroud wouldn't be snug against the blade, but I think that the US hilt would surely be classified as Light Club.

I have a 40" on my Flam, and it's very wobbly despite being so deeply set in the hilt. If the emitter shroud on the fallen tightly wrapped the blade it would offer much more support for a 40.

Ive got a 40" set in my Aeon V3 and it holds surprisingly well (especially since its 40" HG)

 It's been a long time since I posted. Real life can catch up to us in an instant but I have been super psyched to post this pic for awhile. This was the long awaited battle between my father and I from a few months back. I am awkwardly duel wielding my Arctic Blue Scorpion and Emerald Initiate v5 (last year's raffle prize) and my father fittingly has the Chosen One with the Vader sound font. His blood from contacting the Initiate with his hand is still on its hilt...to serve as a warning. With the holidays coming up and that being when I make additions to my collection, I was all set to go with Sentinel v5 LE x2 to make a staff but then saw the Fallen and my plans are completely ruined. I must make that into a staff and of course For Tyeth already has a mock up of it. I'll take that as a sign. Now I have to decide on the LE with SY or SRD or to go with the Crimson and perhaps PO. That Crimson Fallen is just sick. |
