It does muffle saber smacks but it greatly diminishes your dexterity as the gauntlets prevent you from spinning your saber from the wrists. In any case, the usual spots they aim for (head and midsection) are not really covered. |

Thank you sir. The local smith who crafted me this item wasn't really sure how to give it a weathered look so we opted for the current setting. |

Last nightly post for the weekend then resting time before I have to pack my room again  I changed my main costume up some with a lighter pair of pants so its not as dark looking, I actually like the new colors =]  Jedi5 by joshgarcia07, on Flickr |
