Sorry if this was clarified already, but my search had no success.

So, if I select a saber with Obsidian V4 premium sound, I can also select FoC as an option. But what if I chose "none"? Will the sound effect for FoC still working just without the blade flickering?
As far as I know the FoC effect uses a 2nd LED connected with the soundboard and on clash the board swichtes through the main and the FoC LED. So what would happen if I would activate FoC on the Launcher (if this would be possible) without having a FoC LED connected? Just a flickering of the main LED?

You will still have the impact and lockup sounds, but no blade effect. Activating FoC in the launcher won't affect that at all, so no flickering whatsoever.

+1 to this.

I have my Tri-led red Chosen One SE with Obsidian v4. The FOC sound works, but the led doesn't do a thing. Was a mystery box raffle prize from a couple years ago.
