Hi Guys,

I was going to upload some fonts into my saber, and after watching the video from Deep on how to do it, I followed exactly the instructions given...

Only difference is that, when I plug in my obsidian board, on the top of the launcher it just says Obsidian Standard Board Serial xxxxx

instead of the Obisidian 64 XT that Deep said to pay extra attention to.

I'm pretty sure I have an Obisidian XT, as it has only 1 Lion-Cell and 1 Dummy Cell..., I can see if my board has a capacitor attached to it, becos it's all taped up..., but It doesn't look like it...
I'm running Windows XP.

Is this normal?

Having a dummy cell in your saber doesn't necessarily mean you have an XT. 

If your USB port is SEPARATE from your soundboard then its an XT.  Otherwise it's not an XT.

Is this true even with FOC?

I just got a new saber with FOC and I am hitting the same point on the Obsidian Launcher.  The video says it should say 64bit but mine doesn't... (unless its not an XT)

My board does not have a seperate usb port, but it also doesn't appear to have the big capacitor I have seen in all the pictures of non-XT boards...

Mine is the same as well.

I had ordered Obsidian Sound with FoC and antivandal led switch.

So inside the soundboard looks like one piece and the usb portion is NOT on a separate piece.

Based on the videos I have seen the FoC is only for 64 XT boards but when I connect mine it only shows Obsidian USB and then the serial #.

FoC works and everything but the board looks like what I thought the normal obsidian usb would look like though.

Almost like they have a new run of boards that combines them both.

The reply I got from Deep said you only have to worry about the 64 bit thing if you have a seperate USB board. 

I think that video is somewhat outdated.

Has anyone tried downloading fonts using the launcher without "USB 64"?  I have the same issue and am hesitant to try and download anything.

Yeah, I did it and it worked fine.

As long as you don't have a seperate USB board on your sound card it doesnt have to say "64 bit" in the launcher software.
