So my Flamberge uses the Li-Ion XTAR battery setup. The two batteries are 800mAh each. Since these batteries are powering 3 LED modules as opposed to the typical one module, the battery life is much shorter. This would not be fortunate when out and about with it for a long period of time. Are there any other batteries with higher mAh ratings compatible with my setup that I could use to obtain a longer battery life? Thanks.

Nope, almost all Li-Ion batteries have a max of 800 mAh. Batteries with higher ratings are most probably fakes and far inferior to the XTars and TrustFires.

Racona is talking the "AA" style 14500 li-ion batteries. Which UltraSabers uses exclusively. The Obsidian/Emerald/Diamond cards require the 7.4 volts that the 2 batteries put out. Using ANY other battery/pack would void the warranty.

Yeah, right, forgot to specify that. Of course there are other types of Li-Ion batteries that have higher capacity, but those do not have the required size for UltraSabers battery packs. You'd need to rewire the power source with a different battery pack, which will void your warranty if done during the first year after purchase.

Ahh, oh well. Thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'll just manage and hope it doesn't die in the middle of a con or something  Cheesy

This.

Surprisingly enough, a set of Trustfires are cheaper than the high end disposables I use in my non-rechargable setups.

I think I paid about $4 a pair for a set of Trustfires.
