I ordered a Boba Fett helmet that's missing the range finder antenna (will replace with a smaller antenna) and want to customize it.
I've already got some chrome spray paint to make the bulk of it silver (This is the way...I want it mostly painted)
But what I'm mostly undecided about is the color on around the T visor. I like blue but that's too close to Jango or Deathwatch.
Red is my top choice at the moment, but metallic green is an option too.
I want to get some opinions from you guys as to what color I should use.
I don't have plans for a full outfit atm, but if I do, it would likely involve adding the helmet and some armour to my Jedi costume to make a cool Mando/Jedi hybrid bounty hunter.
But that's for a much later project that will depend on what's available around Halloween

My son went with a blue around the t-visor, but with red inside the cheeks to set it apart
Metallic green could definitely work

Thanx for the info guys. I'm 99.9% sure the T visor will be red, but now I'm contemplating using blue under the cheeks.
It's that or dark red.
What do you think about half red, half blue?
Right side bright red with dark red in the cheek, left side Royal blue with midnight blue in the cheek?
Or red/dark red with just a stripe of blue starting at the left vertical section of the T and going all the way over the dome to the rear

what if you tried to take tribal face tatoo vector or the mythosaur skull and incorporate it. kinda like Ahsoka's Clone helmets?

So the helmet arrived and it fits great, at least after I shifted the head foam a bit so my nose wasn't smooshed against the visor.
I had to make my own antenna and and some shear black cloth inside the visor because it wasn't tinted at all, but I knew that before I bought it. That's why it was so cheap.
I've got it sprayed silver and drying. Assuming the sheen stays the same, it will have a semi- mirror finish. Not quite as chrome as Dyn Jarrin, but more reflective than Jango Fett.
I'm so excited. I'll post a pic as soon as I get the first coats of blue & red on it.
