May The Force Serve You Well

« on: June 06, 2020, 06:45:36 PM »

With the helmets finished, starting work on the chest, back, and shoulder parts of the armor.
I have downloaded templates from the Mandalorian Mercs, as well as from Sionnach Studios on Youtube for the work.
Printed out all the templates, then pieced them together

Templates cut out and ready for use

Spines and top edge trim pieces in place

Craft foam lower edge trim pieces in place

Seam filling with a combination of Kwik Seal and flexible spackle

Two coats of Plasti-Dip

Base coat of gunmetal for both sets

While my son figures out the colors for his, I painted the center ridge of mine in black.
One of the two panels was painted in with Citadel Mephiston Red, and the other panel got the same 'Hell Hound' logo I used on my helmet

Working with a combination of EVA foam and Sintra for these.
