EA announced a new SW title called "Squadrons". Full reveal Monday. Perhaps a modern take on the TIE Fighter / X Wing games? At any rate starting a thread to cover this as more is shown, a little more info here: https://venturebeat.com/2020/06/12/star-wars-squadrons-tease/

It would appear as you have a number of choices. You can play as either Vanguard Squadron (New Republic) or Titan Squadron (Empire), both of which have at least 2 female pilots Smiley

I'm not sure yet...it's not the gameplay or the general look of it...more the financial and hardware things. I desperately need more disc capacity, but can't afford it...and the game itself isn't for free either Wink

According to Wookiepedia it's going to be available on both XBox One and PS4. I may need to get it on PS4 myself.

I love the diversity in Vanguard Squadron, particularly the races. It's nice to see some non-humans involved. Also the ethnic diversity in the humans involved....I wonder why the two Imps are still masked?

Specs seem to be quite okay. I should be able to run it...finally a game where I can use my flight stick again Cheesy The last one was X-Wing Alliance...

Now imagine how this would look like in VR  Shocked

From what I can tell the Single Player Story mode will allow you to create your own character.

If that is true I will be disgustingly happy. I'd be happy even without that feature but I sure wont turn it down!

Not sure if the gameplay footage is still beta stadium, but even if it is...THIS.IS.INCREDIBLE.

I wasn't that impressed by a Star Wars starfighter game ever since X-Wing Alliance....
