I have received my saber ( http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=45537.0 ) and had my first workout, the quick coupler is not a tight fit, little bit of rattle and not for those with small hands. over all i like it

its a real nice piece equipment i can not flaw it, balance is good i had two decent hvy spars already, my partner stated since the blade gives a little on contact a hard strike dont hurt as much . so i recommend US to any one looking for a combat rated saber

There's an inner part that came a bit loose in mine, but I realized it just screws back in, which reduces most of the rattle, but not all.

My coupler was kind of rattling too, but I was doing some heavy swing on 32 inch blades. It is secure. But I also hung it on my wall horizontally and it 'sinks' in the middle. I went back to my old sound coupler for display. The point is it's pretty normal.

Sounds like you need to tighten the female end. As I mentioned above, there's an inner ring that comes loose.
My staff started 'sinking' as well but once I adjusted that part, problem solved
