Butcher LE and Dark Initiate

I recieved my sabers yesterday and absolutely love them. I ordered the Butcher LE in Blazing Red and it looks amazing! I added the free initiate with my order through the coupon code that was offered at the time I ordered and it looks great. The initiate has no sound and is blue when ignited. Overall very happy and amazed at how great they look in person. The Butcher is equipped with the Diamond Controller and I ordered it with a green lit av switch. With the silver and gold hilt, the green av switch looks amazing especially with the glow of the red blade.

Hilt: on the heavy side but for me that is not a problem. I have experience with a sword so this doesn't hinder me in wielding my saber.
Good for one handed combat but with practice it can be held with 2 hands just as efficiently. I find the way a katana is held works best for this saber.

Blade: The initiate is the stunt saber setup and standard 24 inch blade. The Butcher is a 36 inch UltraEdge Heavy Grade blade but I ended up cutting it down to about 30 inches. I am 5'9 and underestimated the blade lenghth.

Sound: Nice, clear, and loud. I look for these 3 things in sabers and I am impressed and happy with quality and sound.

Colour: Nice and vibrant colour on both sabers. Full colour the entire lenght of the blade on each saber. I did not notice any major dimming in my Butcher compared to the Initiate. Even with the longer blade before cutting it down, the light was bright and evenly distributed.

Diamond Controller: Equipped with 9 fonts and colours. I am not going to mess with it as I don't want to risk breaking the wires just yet. The battery pack is nice and tight in the hilt. I am happy with the default 9 fonts programmed so this is not an issue for me.

Conclusion: Beautiful, Quality craftmanship, great sound, awesome bright light.

I am going to continue ordering more sabers at a later time but for now I am happy with my order.

Thanks for the review!  The pics are nice, too; there is a mix of dark and light, so that we can see the ignited blade (and switch) emphasized in the dark ones, and can also see the details of the hilts in the lighted ones.  I like it when people do that.

Thanks! At first I wasn't sure about the Initiate when I saw them online but in person I actually like it. The Butcher looks so good in LE, pics don't really show the beauty of it but in person it is amazing!
